Jenna Jameson is the de facto celebrity voice of the keto diet these days. But as she points out in a recent Instagram post, her keto weight-loss journey isn’t just about looks.
In her newest Instagram post, Jenna shared two photos of herself: one before she lost more than 80 pounds on the keto diet, and the other from now. “Truth. I thought I was still sexy af in my before pic. I was right,” she wrote.

Truth. I thought I was still sexy af in my before pic. I was right. My weight loss was never about pleasing society. Yours shouldn’t be either. It’s about health, it’s about keeping up with our kids, it’s about longevity. So stay sexy out there, but strive for health! #wholefoods #ketotransformation #beforeandafterweightloss #beforeandafter #goals #postpartumbody #keto #intermittentfasting #biohacking

Jenna went on to say that her weight-loss motivation had nothing to do with making others happy. She wrote: “My weight loss was never about pleasing society. Yours shouldn’t be either. It’s about health, it’s about keeping up with our kids, it’s about longevity. So stay sexy out there, but strive for health!”
While Jenna has talked up the keto diet and what it’s done for her in the past few months, she’s also made it clear that weight loss has so many more benefits than how you look. Jenna said back in July that she started thinking more clearly after she went on keto. At the time, Jenna said that she felt “slow mentally and physically” before she started the diet, but now she feels “happier, smarter, and much more confident.”
In another post in August, Jenna also said that her “mental game is strong. I feel I can do anything.”
Jenna has also pushed for people who go on the keto diet to be smart about it, choosing whole foods and taking a pass on processed and fast foods as much as possible in order to focus on their health as well as weight loss.
Clearly, she’s all about taking a 360 approach to weight loss, and it’s working.
