- Taraji P. Henson, 50, just showed off her toned, strong bod on Instagram in a series of bikini photos.
- The actress and her abs, booty, and everything look fitter than ever.
- The Empire alum previously followed a 30-day fitness challenge with her trainer Mike T and works out every day for up to two hours.
If you’ve got it, flaunt it — that seems to be Taraji P. Henson’s philosophy around her “amaze-balls” abs.The Hidden Figures star posted some “candid” thirst traps from the beach on Instagram Stories, showing off her core, butt, and everything in a teeny string bikini. She followed those up with a full-on bikini photoshoot shared on her main feed.
Taraji is workin’ it. In the first pic, she whips her hair over her head leaving a perfect cascade of water arching over her head. Then, she leans into it wearing a string bikini and wading near the beach. The final trio of pics show Taraji splashing around in another barely-there bikini. She captioned her bikini photo series: “Water WERKS 📸 by the GIFTED @erikabracey ❤️❤️❤️💋💋💋”

The actress is truly gifted in more ways than one. When she’s not busy working, she is likely in the gym. She trains seven (!!) days a week, doing one or two hours of strength training and cardio. Her longtime trainer Mike T told InStyle that Taraji is “very disciplined” and “her focus is second to none.”
She starts every workout with cardio. “I usually do that on the elliptical,” she told WSJ Magazine. “If I’m feeling really adventurous, I’ll do a 20-minute stint on my Peloton bike. If I’m feeling really lazy, I’ll just walk it out on the treadmill.”
Next, she boxes, which she picked up during the pandemic. “At first my trainer was coming to the house, but the [rate of infection] numbers got so crazy and I just didn’t feel comfortable with that,” she said. “So I needed other equipment that would train me like my trainer. I fell in love with this boxing machine, Nexersys.” When she wants to tone up her arms and core, she uses battle ropes; for her lower body, she’s a big fan of squats, leg lifts, and kettlebell deadlifts.
All this time in the (home)gym means she needs to fuel up. When it comes to eating healthy, her post-workout protein shake is a staple, and she boosts it with all the mix-ins. “I take vitamin C, I take iron. I put elderberry powder, spirulina and collagen in my shake,” she said.
With all those thirst traps, it’s no wonder Taraji gets thirsty, too.
