Another day, another Dr. Pimple Popper video labeled as “sensitive content.”
The video, shared Monday night on Instagram by dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, focuses on a lipoma (a.k.a., a benign tumor of fatty tissue). “This is one slick #lipoma but it’s Got To Go,” Dr. Pimple Popper wrote in the caption.
The video starts with a still of what seems to be someone’s shoulder with a huge lump on it—and it’s all downhill from there. In the next shot, you see the persons’ shoulder cut open and there’s a bunch of yellowish, gelatinous goo hanging out in there. The lump is so freaking big that the doctor practically has her whole hand inside it to try to work out the gunk.

The lipoma clearly wants to stay put, so Dr. Pimple Popper has to repeatedly grab and pull on it until it finally (slowly) starts to work its way out. “It’s just stuck in these little…tunnels,” she says.
Finally, the doctor starts ripping the stuff out. Yes, ripping. And then she proceeds to shake it a bit. “Going to shake you, because it helps,” she says. Then, the Instagram video cuts to black, so you definitely have to head over to YouTube to see how it all ends up.
Over there, Dr. Pimple Popper is still ripping away at the lipoma, which, tbh, looks like the inside of a pumpkin. Finally, she gets out a pair of scissors and starts cutting. After what feels like an eternity of cutting and pulling, she completely removes the lipoma and starts stitching the patient up.
Moral of the story: If you see a lump forming on any part of your body, get it checked out ASAP and don’t let it ride. Otherwise, Dr. Pimple Popper could be elbow-deep in it before you realize what’s going on.
