Teyana Taylor's Abs Look Like A Literal Washboard, And I'm In Awe

  • Teyana Taylor performed her new song on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
  • The singer showed off her impressive vocals and seriously ripped abs.
  • Teyana credits dancing for her strong physique.

Teyana Taylor’s music career is having a moment. She just put out a single with Kehlani called “Morning,” and she was also featured on a new song with Dave East called “Need A Sign.” She took to the stage with East last night to perform their tune live on The Late Late Show with James Corden, and her toned abs look insane.

“From Harlem to Corden, shittin meeeeeeee! Stay up late with us tonight at 12:35AM for a fun #LateLateShow #NeedASign #survival OUT NOW!” she captioned her post.

Teyana clearly is putting in some work to get that six-pack. In fact, she has her own dance-inspired cardio workout program called Fade2Fit. “I have a dance fitness program called Fade2Fit, where we do live videos of us dancing,” she told The Cut. “We combine dancing and exercise to make it fun and release pressure.”

And apparently, you can see results in as little as a week, according to Teyana. “I do it every day, and I have to choreograph it every day,” she said. “I haven’t had any complaints yet, so I’m happy about that.”

Teyana is also a mom to Iman Jr., who she welcomed in 2015. And she continued to dance throughout her pregnancy, she told Us Weekly. “The only real workout I do is dancing and performing. I was touring right up until after I was six months pregnant, and I was in really good shape, so after she came, I just went right back down, almost immediately. That’s the way I do it—I love to dance.”

And she’s not into the gym or weight lifting. “If I lift up a weight, I automatically get super strong,” she also told The Cut. “That’s why I get intimidated and stay away from the gym—I’m already naturally so strong that if I were to work out I would look like a bodybuilder.”

And when it comes to diet, Teyana doesn’t really follow one…and she hates veggies. She told Us Weekly that she’s not interested in following a general diet. “I don’t even eat vegetables!” she said.

Wow… adding dancing to my workouts ASAP!
