Study reveals: Why you should listen to when driving a car music

Car fun can be – but also stressful. There is quite a difference, whether you are riding leisurely through the countryside or under the pressure of time in the city is in a traffic jam.

But, if it is not relaxed, so you should turn on the Radio and listen to music. This was confirmed by new studies.

Music lowers the stress level

Stressed-out drivers have more accidents and more heart attacks. Scientists found a simple way to both prevent.

A study from Brazil, researchers from the São Paulo State University (UNESP), and had several women in foreign cars through busy streets in an unknown city to share. The perfect recipe for a good Portion of Stress, they thought, and rightly so.

While a group was allowed to listen to instrumental music, was at the other Radio. The result: Delivery music in the car, knocked the heart less quickly and the blood pressure low, because the drivers were stressed less.

This meant a lower Cortisol release, which in turn reduces demands on the heart and circulation. Although the experiment was only conducted with few participants, the results were very clear, the researchers stressed.

In the study, women were selected as subjects, in order to get clearer results, which are not influenced by differences in sex hormones.

What kind of music relaxes the best?

Who thinks now, the happier, the better, you are wrong. Because of Ford and Spotify commissioned study conducted by New York University revealed that there are more of the melancholic-tinged Songs that are particularly relaxing. So rather minor than major, but quite happy with the pace.

So Lana Del Ray, Adele, Amy Winehouse, The Killers and Foals under the recommendations of the experts from New York are to be found. Practically was included with the study also a Playlist.

Also helpful thoughts seem to be heavy texts that convey how a crisis is done and a Problem was successfully solved. Maybe because it is the hope that the traffic jam in which you stand straight, it will eventually dissolve.
