There’s no movie that does a better job of encompassing all of the holiday feelings from October through December better than The Nightmare Before Christmas, a movie that seamlessly drifts between the twisted, dark world of Jack Skellington and his spooky friends, and the magic of Christmas. So, as soon as fall hit we started hearing about a slew of different Starbucks Frappuccinos based on some of the most famous characters in the film. Now, you won’t find any of these on the Starbucks menu, official or secret, but if you go in knowing what to order you could find yourself enjoying a Jack Skellington, Oogie Boogie, or Sally Frappuccino.
1. The Sally Frappuccino
First up, there’s the Sally Frappuccino. This colorful concoction is modeled after Sally’s outfit. To order one, ask for caramel drizzle in your cup, a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with matcha powder blended in, and a topping of whipped cream, strawberry sauce, and freeze-fried strawberries. It’s fruity, sweet, and might be able to warm your cold heart even in the depths of winter.
2. The Jack Skellington Frappuccino
If you’re looking for something a little darker, there’s the Jack Skellington Frappuccino. This autumnal concoction is a little complicated, so you might want to write your order down for your barista. Ask for a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino with chai syrup, a shot of espresso, a mocha drizzle on the sides of the cup, and a topping of whipped cream and java chips. It’s a chocolatey, spicy, totally fall-appropriate treat.
3. The Oogie Boogie Frappuccino
Next up, there’s the Oogie Boogie Frappuccino. Just like the monster it’s named for, this one’s a little strange looking, but it sounds delicious. It’s also…pretty complicated, even compared to the other Nightmare Before Christmas Frappuccinos. Ask for whipped cream in the bottom of the cup, sprinkled with java chips. Then, top that with a White Mocha Frappuccino that’s been blended with java chips. Top it all off with whipped cream, matcha powder, and mocha cookie crumbles — and don’t forget to leave your barista a huge tip!
If you’re desperately waiting to see what Starbucks adds to its winter menu and are already bored of humdrum Pumpkin Spice, then maybe these secret menu Nightmare Before Christmas Frappuccinos will hit the spot.
