Ree Drummond knows her way around the kitchen. The Pioneer Woman spent the last few decades cooking for her family and, in 2011, she began cooking for us, bringing her delicious southern style to our hearts and homes with her own show. But the Food Network star revealed that, if she had the choice, she wouldn’t do it alone. In fact, Drummond wants to collaborate with Ina Garten, and we are more than here for it.
“If I had to pick one, it would be tough. But my longtime love is Ina Garten,” Drummond told Fox News. “I’ve loved her since she started her show.” And we get it. Ina is as fabulous as her food! But Drummond also admitted she is happy to share her cooktops and crock pots with anyone and everyone. “I’ll cook with anyone as long as they’re willing to come to me!” Drummond said, including Food Network Star winner Eddie Jackson — who Drummond “absolutely loves” — and celebrity chef Bobby Flay.
Drummond once faced off against Flay in a Thanksgiving Throwdown: a throwdown which she won.
That said, the Drummond-Garten team up is totally hypothetical, especially when one considers how busy these two are. Drummond is currently working on season 23 of Pioneer Woman. She is managing her own food line, home goods line and cookware line. And Garten? Well, she is filming yet another season of Barefoot Contessa… and probably working on another cookbook.
Still, the partnership sounds heavenly and we hope it happens. I mean, imagine what these culinary geniuses could whip up!
