On a recent trip to Aldi’s Batavia, IL headquarters, Aldi’s head honchos were kind enough to share plenty of insight on what makes their grocery stores so beloved — and how to make your shopping experience even better. Besides pointing out some great hidden gems, like their copycat Girl Scout Cookies and a 7-UP-flavored cake, Aldi let us in on an important shopping hack: In most markets, new items come out on Wednesdays!
Hump Day is typically when the Aldi Finds section gets a refresh, adding between 40 and 50 new items to your local store. These include seasonal items — like college dorm decor and school lunchboxes in the fall — as well as test products, like these Bai-inspired organic fruit juices. The Aldi Finds section is also where you’ll find specialty products, like flavored olive oils.
???You can find these at @aldiusa ! They are amazing! Very similar to Bai waters! I know a lot of people struggle with just drinking straight water. I like having one of these with my lunches. #aldifinds #aldi #healthy #healthytips #fitfood #fitness #athomeworkout #fitmom #momsofinstagram #fitmomsofig #weightlossjourney #weightloss #weightlosstransformation #keto #ketodiet #diet #postpartumbody #postpartum #fitnessgoals

In some markets, new items come out on Sunday. The trick to knowing which schedule your local shop operates on — ask an employee which day the Aldi Insider weekly ad comes out. Pro tip: The weekly newsletter gets published online, too. This weeks’ finds include tailgating gear, a 16-piece food container set that’s just $5, and a $2 Taco Bell Crunchy Dinner Kit.
