- Jennifer Lopez, 52, took a casual stroll in Los Angeles with a few companions.
- The superstar wore a matching crop top and pants set to frame her six-pack abs.
- J.Lo stays strong with strength training workouts, an intense abs circuit, and more.
Pointing out that Jennifer Lopez has great abs is like declaring that the sky is blue and expecting people to be floored. But still. Sometimes J.Lo shows up with a gentle reminder that you should be in awe of her washboard abs, and she just casually dropped a bunch.
The 52-year-old singer-actress went out for a stroll with friends and family and, whew, she brought her six pack along for the experience. In the pics, you can see J.Lo working a matching bra top, pants, and jacket that’s fully open to show off those sculpted abs. See for yourself below:
But J.Lo isn’t one of those celebrities who claims she looks like that from good genes and eating clean. Jenny from the block has made it very clear that she puts in the work.
J.Lo told Us Weekly in 2015 that she “very rarely skips a workout,” and she’s even shared photos on Instagram of herself exercising on Christmas Eve and her birthday. She even gets in a workout on those days when she’s just not feeling it. “”Sometimes when I get home and I’m not feeling so great, I make myself go to the gym,” J.Lo told Redbook in 2010. “Then I come home…and I feel pepped up and great about myself.”
Her trainer, Dodd Romero, previously shared J.Lo’s abs routine with O, the Oprah Magazine, and it’ll make you tired just hearing about it. Jennifer’s typical core workout kicks off with a set of 50 hanging ab raises, 50 rope crunches, and 50 incline sit ups with a 45-pound plate. That’s all followed by another round of 35 reps each, and then a round of 21 reps. Oh! And she doesn’t take any breaks in between.
And, ICYMI, J.Lo is incredibly dedicated to her fitness. “She’s genetically blessed, she’s physically gifted with an incredible amount of physical energy, but also this beautiful amount of mental and emotional energy,” one of her trainers, David Kirsch, told People in 2017. “She’s very connected to her body, and she’s got crazy discipline.”
J.Lo, everybody!
