Ricci jokingly commented, “Probably the sober one with lopsided boobs cellulite and uncontrollable gas thanks babe.” She also posted the same photo on her Instagram page and quipped, “We will not take ridiculous portraits of this kid. We will not take ridiculous portraits of this kid. We will not take ridiculous portraits of this kid. We might take ridiculous portraits of this kid.”

Bella Thorne, who starred alongside Amell in The Duff, expressed her excitement in the comments section of his post. “CONGRATS,” she wrote. The Village‘s Pej Vahdat added six red heart emojis to show his support. Love, Simon actress Alexandra Shipp, for her part, gushed, “Congratulations!”

The Canadian actor proposed to the Chasing Life alum in August 2014 after more than six years together. “She said yes!!!… I think. I can’t really be sure,” Amell captioned a kissing photo at the time. “I’m going marry my best friend. @italiaricci.”

Ricci and Amell tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Los Angeles two years later. Celebrities including Victor Garber, Carlos and Alexa PenaVega and the When We First Met actor’s cousin Stephen Amell watched as the pair said, “I do.”

The Late Bloomer star gushed over her husband on their second wedding anniversary in October 2018. “11 years ago I met him. 10 years ago I was dating him. 4 years ago I said I would. 2 years ago I said I did,” she captioned a snapshot from their nuptials. “Every single day has been the best one yet. Except for football days. Those are lame.”
