Major moment! Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert found out the sex of their baby-to-be with the help of a skydiver.
“So Jared [Haibon] and Ashley [Iaconetti] set up a gender reveal for us,” the Bachelorette alum, 32, said at Skydive Perris in a Tuesday, June 4, YouTube video. “They told us to meet at a restaurant down the street and here we are. We didn’t know what was going on. I didn’t know if I was going to have to skydive. They told me I wasn’t going to, so that’s a relief. Now I just have to worry about whether it’s a boy or girl.”
His wife, also 32, added: “They kept this secret for like two weeks.”
Fellow Bachelor in Paradise alums Haibon, 30, and Iaconetti, 31, orchestrated the reveal, inviting their friends’ 21-month-old daughter, Emerson, and a few of their other pals and family members to watch Dean Unglert jump out of a plane.
When the Bachelorette alum, 28, released his blue flag in the air, Tolbert and Roper hugged, kissed and got sprayed with blue silly string.
“I feel so happy, slightly relieved, but overjoyed,” the Kansas native said.
“You’re so collected right now,” the pregnant star went on to say. “It’s a boy! It’s cool that everyone came together and did this big gesture of love for our baby.”
The pair, who tied the knot in 2016, announced in January that they have another little one on the way. “Baby #2 is joining our crew!!” the Bachelor alum captioned a sweet spread of Instagram shots. “We are overjoyed our bundle of love will be joining us in August! We’ve been dreaming of you for a while now, and you are already loved beyond imaginable, sweet baby.”
Three months later, they revealed the little one’s sex with a photo captured mid-silly string spray. “It’s a boy!” Roper captioned the March pic.
