A serious factor in the development of hypertension, as well as the growth of cholesterol in the blood, American scientists called the noise in the workplace. They studied the effects of noise on people engaged in industrial production.
About one in eight of those working in this area reported hearing problems. It turned out that more than 50% of their number faced a problem with health problems precisely because of exposure to excessive noise in the workplace.
“About a quarter of all workers were exposed to loud noise at the workplace. 24% showed hypertension. 28% of participants showed too high cholesterol, ”said the researchers.
According to scientists, the most dangerous, based on the above parameters, are the production, construction and mining. At least half of the people working in these industries experience the systematic impact of loud noise.
