You Can Buy $5 Bottles of Sangria at Target This Summer

Target’s super-cheap, super-popular wine collection just got a new bottle, and it’s ideal for summer. California Roots, Tar-jay’s answer to Two-Buck Chuck, already included $5 bottles of your favorite reds and whites along with last year’s rosé addition, so it was high time they spread their wings and give us a bottle of sangria.

The new bottles arrive in stores May 20 and will be sold at all Target locations licensed to sell alcohol. We don’t know much about the wine yet other than it’s a red sangria with notes of fresh berries and citrus. Really, though, all you need to know is that it’s cheap as heck and people actually love Target’s in-house wine label.

First launched in 2017, the brand includes a red blend, cabernet sauvignon, moscato, pinot grigio, chardonnay, rosé, and, most recently, sauvignon blanc. People rave about them because of the price, obviously, but also the taste and ABV.

If you drink wine:::: Go to Target and buy the California Roots moscato. $5 wine, 10% alc and tastes really good. YOU’RE WELCOME

This afternoon I picked up a bottle of Target’s version of two buck chuck, California Roots ($5/bottle).
*drinks first sip* well this is the first and last time I drink this

an hour later…

*empties rest of bottle into glass* hell yeah for $5 this wine’s not bad!

shout out to California Roots wine for being delicious AND only costing $5

So if you find yourself in need of some cheap sangria this summer and don’t feel like making it yourself, you can go to Target and pick up one of these. Throw some fruit in there, too, if you’re feeling fancy!
