Valentine’s Day is less than one month away, but you probably don’t need reminding. Grocery stores these days are decorated floor-to-ceiling with glossy, glittery pink- and red-hued cutout hearts, and shelves are lined with so many sugary, sweet Valentine’s Day teats, we can feel our blood sugar levels rising just thinking about it. But that won’t stop us from eating our fair share of raspberry hearts, chocolate cupcakes, and mini boxes of assorted chocolates. And the first stop on our Valentine’s Day sweets spree? Trader Joe’s, which, this year, is selling so many V-Day products, we can’t decide what we want to try first.
Thanks to Trader Joe’s Obsessed on Instagram, we have our first preview of Trader Joe’s Valentine’s Day products — and it’s admittedly gotten us really excited for our next TJ’s run. According to Trader Joe’s Obsessed, the store’s V-Day loot includes Belgium chocolates in a blush-colored, heart-shaped box for the low, very reasonable price of $6.99. The brand-new offering includes truffle coffee arabica, raspberry yogurt, hazelnut cream and double lait praline, hazelnut cream and hazelnut pieces, smooth caramel, and pure ganache and marzipan chocolates. Each box also benefits Cocoa for Schools, a program project “committed to improve the lives of thousands of cocoa farmers and their families in the Kyela, Busokelo and Rungwe districts of Mbeya, Tanzania.”
Trader Joe’s also has chocolate hearts for sale for $1.49, gluten-free pink chocolate cupcakes for $3.99, dark chocolate mini heart cookies for $2.99, and dark chocolate raspberry batons for $1.69 each.
And, last but not least, the last batch of Trader Joe’s Valentine’s Day goodies includes they raspberry rose white chocolate bar for $2.49, raspberry jam heart cookies for $4.99, and a bag of Xs & Os gummies for $2.99 each.
Though not pictured, Trader Joe’s Obsessed says the store also carries heart-shaped jelly beans.
Maybe we’ll hit up TJ’s during our lunch break, instead, to look for these items…
