These Trader Joe's Instagram Accounts Are Sharing Genius Recipe Ideas

Search “Trader Joe’s” on Instagram, and you’ll be met with a virtually endless list of Trader Joe’s fan accounts. And while many are worth the follow to keep up-to-date on all the new TJ’s products — and the return of cult-favorites — hitting its shelves, others boast unique, delicious recipes that use some of the best TJ’s products (and even products you’ve likely never tried before).

Two IG accounts that quickly come to mind — and that you should immediately search for and follow — are Trader Joe’s Obsessed (@traderjoesobsessed) and Trader Joe’s Kitchen (@traderjoeskitchen). They’re both equally as popular (each have more than 300K followers), and they both share many, many mouthwatering recipes.

Take, for instance, Trader Joe’s Obsessed’s jerk grilled chicken skewers with slaw. This recipe calls for two popular TJ’s items: Jerk Chicken Thigh Skewers with Mango Chutney, and Tahini, Pepita and Apricot Slaw Kit. Essentially, you’re just following the cooking instructions for both of these products, but Obsessed does have a couple tips, including thawing the chutney a half-hour before cooking the skewers and using an air fryer to cook the skewers. The end result? A colorful, flavorful dish you can quickly toss together on a weeknight.

I am so happy these jerk grilled ? chicken skewers are back with mango ? chutney sauce ? They are so tender and have a lot of flavor with a kick ? ✅ Make sure to thaw out the mango chutney a half an hour before cooking the skewers (I used the air fryer 9 mins 375 degrees from frozen). I paired these with the Pepita tahini & apricot slaw for dinner tonight. The salad dressing was just OK for me nothing special and there wasn’t enough either I probably wouldn’t get this again. The curry slaw kit one is amazing and I want to try the new buffalo ranch sauce one soon? Another simple dish — prepared with Trader Joe’s products — is Trader Joe’s Kitchen’s Birds Nest breakfast dish. For this, Kitchen used Trader Joe’s frozen hash browns, chopped onions, garlic powder, egg, and the ever-so-popular Everything But The Bagel Seasoning.

View this post on Instagram

Here’s how I made this Birds Nest? 1. I used Trader Joe’s frozen hash browns and chopped onions as the “nest”. Sauté them in olive oil until browned and crispy. The hash browns don’t come with any seasoning on them so I put garlic powder, black pepper, and a little salt. 2. Form the hash browns into a circle and hollow out room for your egg. Separate your egg white and yolk. Add in the egg whites first and they’ll spread a little which will hold the hash browns together. After a few minutes, add the egg yolk on top and cook to your liking. I put a lid on the pan to speed up the process a bit but just make sure you don’t overcooked the yolk. 3. Carefully place on a plate with a spatula and top with Everything But The Bagel Seasoning!

Salmon with Mango Salsa

View this post on Instagram

Salmon with mango salsa?? For the salmon and mango salsa: – Chop mango and red onion and toss in a bowl with fresh lime juice, minced garlic, cilantro, Chile lime seasoning, black pepper, and salt. – Place salmon in a good non-stick pan, skin side down with some olive oil on medium high heat. – Cook on one side for about 5-6 minutes depending on how thick the cut is. Flip the salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Once the salmon is done, it should flake nicely with a fork. Season with chile lime seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Spritz with fresh lime juice. For the Garlic Parmesan Riced Cauliflower: – Use Trader Joe’s frozen riced cauliflower. Sauté minced garlic in a pot with a little olive oil and then add the riced cauliflower (and don’t add water!). Once the cauliflower is defrosted, add a little butter, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.

Who was able to snag food at Trader Joe’s before the apocalypse hit??? I haven’t been to Trader Joe’s in about a week butttt if you’ve seen my freezer, you know I’ve been preparing my whole life for this? Kidding, but I always keep my freezer/pantry stocked because I hate realizing in the middle of a recipe, that I’m out of something. Soooo here’s a super easy two-ingredient recipe you could make with stuff you may already have in the freezer: – Preheat your oven to 400° – Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasoning, and pepper. – Cook the Spinach Artichoke Dip in the microwave until it’s heated through and slather onto the chicken. – Cook in the oven for about 30 min depending on how thick your chicken is. I used a meat thermometer to make sure it was fully cooked (165°).
