Baby on board! Cassie and her boyfriend, Alex Fine, announced on Thursday, June 13, that they are expecting their first child together — and the couple are on cloud nine.
“We are so happy and thankful to be starting our family,” the singer, 32, and bull rider, 26, told Us Weekly exclusively on Thursday. “Can’t wait to love on our baby girl.”
The pair shared a pic from their pregnancy reveal photo shoot exclusively with Us as well. In the sweet shot, the dancer and her boyfriend hugged outside of a car with white baby sneakers dangling from the rearview mirror.
Cassie and Fine debuted their relationship in December 2018 with a PDA pic on Instagram. The “Me & U” singer and the athlete posed with her mom, Stacey Hobson, in a holiday photo booth. They were all smiles in the first pic and kissing in the second.
“I love you Mommy,” the Connecticut native captioned the upload.
When she revealed on social media that she is expecting, the model penned an adorable tribute to her daughter-to-be, writing, “Can’t wait to meet our baby girl. Love You Always & Forever.”
Her boyfriend shared a letter to his daughter. “I will be the first man in your life and will show you the greatest love and affection now and forever,” Fine wrote. “I never thought my heart could grow bigger after meeting your mother… then I found out we were having you and I instantly felt a love that is so indescribable. I promise to be at every dance recital, concert, sporting event, school plays whatever you decide to do I will be there and support you. I am your number one fan. I promise to be a man that you and your mother look up to and love. I will always listen and put the both of you first.”
He closed with: “You’re perfect to me and always will be.”
Cassie was previously linked to rapper Diddy. The former couple dated on and off for 11 years.
