Kristen Bell's Favorite Kid Products Are Beyond Cute

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are comedic geniuses in their own rights, and the ultimate in #couplegoals. They recently created Hello Bello, a line of baby items — including diapers, sunscreen, bug spray, bubble bath, lotion, wipes, and more — that are taking the parenting-products market by storm. While celebs rolling out their own line of baby stuff is no new thing (hi, Jessica Alba!) Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s Hello Bello brand already has a cult following for a simple reason: These products are not only good for your babies and for the environment — they’re super affordable to boot. Like, super affordable. As in everything is under $8 (!!!). And who doesn’t love plant-based, organic baby products that don’t require you to shell out the big bucks?

Kristen Bell launched the brand with the intention of offering premium baby products made with organic botanicals, at an affordable price point. That’s why the Hello Bello line is sold exclusively at Walmart. Yep, Walmart. But before you cringe, just hear out the Hello Bello tagline, which states: “Parents shouldn’t have to choose between what’s good for their baby and their budget.” I mean, it’s hard to argue with that, right? And really, have the dynamic KrisDax duo ever done anything we didn’t absolutely love?

But before you go out and buy the entire line (I mean, I’m not saying don’t, just read this first) we’ve rounded up our favorite products from Hello Bello, so you can get the best of the best for your little’s tush. And head. And toes.

Mineral Sunscreen

The sunscreen from Hello Bello offers SPF 50 and is water-resistant for up to 80 minutes. Plus, it’s the only FDA-approved sunscreen (hear that?) that protects against all three types of UV rays (UVB, UVA2, and UVA1) all by itself. Oh, and it’s hypoallergenic, reef-friendly, vegan and cruelty-free. Thought it couldn’t get any better? Well, then you’d be wrong, because it’s also made with moisturizing organic shea and cocoa butter, organic coconut oil, and organic calendula, green tea, avocado, and cucumber extracts. Um, yeah.

Diaper Rash Cream

Bug Spray

I have a hate/hate relationship with bug spray. Most of the options out there are far too oily and smell like straight-up chemicals — and the ones that don’t smell like toxic death often don’t actually work to keep the bugs away. But all that has ended, my friends: The Hello Bello bug spray is organic and lab-tested (to repel all types of mosquitoes, along with 55+ other insects for up to six hours!). Not to mention it’s Deet free (duh), non-irritating, and safe for use on adults, kids, and pets. And that chemical smell? Not here. This baby smells like woodsy goodness and camping (minus the scent of unshowered kids).

Diapers

The only consolation prize for having to change 10 diapers a day? Having to change 10 super cute diapers a day. And boy, do these diapers deliver. Plenty of us know about Kristen Bell’s penchant for sloths, and you’d better believe there’s a sloth print on these suckers. There’s also dinosaurs, oranges, watermelons, pineapples, cactus, flowers, lightning bolts, rain clouds, hearts, arrows, rainbows, poop emojis, peas, and so much more. If that doesn’t make your 3 a.m. diaper change a tad bit better, I don’t know what will.

The diapers are secure, flexible, and can absorb up to 50 times their weight in liquid, so your babe can wear them longer without leaks.

Bubble Bath

Pretty sure this bubble bath is going to be your new favorite. Yes, Mom, for you (we’re giving you full permission to steal this baby product for yourself). Its heavenly lavender smell and non-drying formula mean you and your babies are basically going to want to live in the bath. Your kids will love the amount of bubbles you can get from just a little squeeze of the bottle (anyone else feel like they have to empty an entire bottle into the water sometimes to get any decent bubbles around here?!). Plus the formula is dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic, ph-balanced, tear-free and available in lavender or vanilla and apricot. It also moisturizes with organic sunflower and jojoba seed extract, so your kiddos don’t get dried out.

Shampoo & Body Wash

This shampoo and body wash does double duty — while making your kid smell like a garden instead of crayons and Mac n’ cheese. The lavender helps to calm and soothe your small savage beast, so this is perfect for a pre-bedtime routine. It’s gentle enough to use on newborns, is ph-balanced, and is made with organic aloe vera, calendula, avocado and cucumber extracts while moisturizing with organic jojoba and sunflower seed oils. Sounds like a dream come true. All that goodness for under $6.

Baby Lotion

Too many lotions “for babies” sneakily contain a myriad of hidden ingredients you don’t want chilling on your babe’s precious skin all day and night. But not this one. It’s plant-based and free from nasties — plus it smells like vanilla and apricots. You’re going to want to use this lotion daily to keep kids’ angelic skin silky and smooth. It’s dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic, lightweight and non greasy. (And it’s the only lotion I’ve been able to find to use on my toddler’s eczema that stops him from itching his arms to shreds in his sleep. Which is a serious win in my book.)
