Watch J.Lo Show Off Her Rock-Hard Abs And Baseball Skills With A-Rod And Their Kids

Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, and their kids spent Monday afternoon during the self-quarantine playing backyard wiffle ball, and turns out, J.Lo might’ve missed her calling as an MLB star. (She and her six-pack abs also might’ve given her former Yankees fiancé a run for his money, just sayin’…)

In a video posted to A-Rod’s Instagram, the blended family practiced their batting skills in the backyard of the couple’s glass house in Miami. (Luckily, the balls were made of hollow plastic.)

First, J.Lo’s daughter Emme hit a winning shot, then A-Rod stepped up to the plate. He hit two, then missed one, which umpire J.Lo called, “STRIKE ONE!”

His next few were better. “Not too shabby, Dad,” one of his daughters said.

And then J.Lo got up to the plate and hit every single pitch—with her rock-hard abs on full display.

“Today, it was so much fun watching them take some cuts. The only depressing part was watching Jen lock in on her swing and launch one,” A-Rod wrote in the caption. “What can’t she do? She even hits better than I do!”

Meanwhile, J.Lo seems to be keeping up with her core exercises at home. Her trainer told O, the Oprah Magazine, that her typical ab workout consists of 50 hanging ab raises, 50 rope crunches, 50 incline sit-ups with a 45-pound plate, followed by a round of 35 reps, followed by a round of 21 reps. But if you don’t have a 45-pound plate laying around your home gym, J.Lo also does sit-ups and Russian twists with medicine balls.

Don’t have a medicine ball? It’s easy to swap in a dumbbell (held vertically) for the Russian twists, or a gallon of water for the sit-ups. Voila—Jennifer Lopez-esque abs!
