Starbucks Just Opened Their First Café in Italy, and It's Every Coffee-Lover's Dream Come True

Starbucks has just opened their very first coffee shop in Italy, and it is the most gorgeous Starbucks on the face of this earth. Fact! Located at Piazza Cordusio in Milan, this new Starbucks Reserve Roastery has a grand old-fashioned Italian exterior, and a very Instagram-able modern interior. And it isn’t anything like your every day go-to coffee spot—it’s basically Disneyland for coffee lovers.

Customers will not only get to sip on their fave Italian caffeine fixes, but they’ll also get to see the entire process of making coffee. And, no, that’s definitely not just like seeing the barista use the espresso machine and pump some syrup into a plastic cup. It’s the real deal, from raw coffee beans to a proper cup of coffee.

The roastery also includes its own bakery—and look, while there’s nothing wrong with the regs pre-made wraps and sandwiches, this Starbucks stands out with its wood-fired oven, which is used to make freshly baked pastries.

Aside from coffee and pastries, the roastery also serves over 100 different traditional and specialty cocktails with small bites at their Arriviamo Bar in the evenings.

It’s definitely every coffee-lover’s dream come true! But if you can’t make the trip to Milan right now, because, you know, you have to work or whatever, Starbucks U.S. is releasing a new drink to celebrate their groundbreaking Italian destination. According to a press release, the Cordusio is “an espresso-forward mocha with a light dusting of cocoa powder, served in a ‘short’ 8 oz size.” It’s only around for a limited time starting September 6, though, so get to it. I mean, it isn’t exactly a trip to Italy, but it’ll do.
