Pabst Blue Ribbon Just Released a Hard Coffee

You know Pabst Blue Ribbon for its red, white, and blue canned beer, but soon you’ll think of them as the brand with Hard Coffee. Thanks to the new beverage, we’ll no longer have to choose between coffee and alcohol ever again.

The boozy sip is made of Arabica and robusta coffee beans, milk, and vanilla. The result is a creamy malt beverage with a 5% ABV. One taster noted that it’s on the sweet side, so think of it like an alcoholic cold brew or Yoo-hoo chocolate milk. Either way, we’re so there.

Hard Coffee is available in 11-ounce cans in select markets within Pennsylvania, Maine, New Jersey, Florida, and Georgia, and you can track it down by using the brand’s product finder.

“Pabst Blue Ribbon has always been a brand that pushes boundaries and celebrates those who experiment and try new things,” said John Newhouse, PBR brand manager. “Hard Coffee is an opportunity for us to pioneer a delicious and fun new drink, and give America something unique. We hope everyone loves it as much as we do.”
