Dr. Pimple Popper Just Had A Legit Struggle With A 'Sticky Pop' In Her Latest Video

  • Dr. Pimple Popper works on a particularly “sticky” blackhead in her latest video.
  • She describes the blemish as a dilated pore.
  • With a little “elbow grease,” Dr. P is able to release the black gunk that had collected beneath the patient’s skin.

Anyone who’s watched one of Dr. Pimple Popper’s (a.k.a Dr. Sandra Lee) videos knows that no pop is too big and no blackhead too deep for Dr. P to take on. In her latest Instagram post, Dr. P tackles a particularly stubborn blemish that she identifies in the video as an especially “sticky” one.

“Sometimes these have been stuck there for a while, so it takes a little bit of elbow grease here,” she says in the post.

After some initial work breaking open the blemish with an extractor, Dr. P switches to a pair of tweezers for the final move. She slowly and gently wiggles the small amount of black gunk that has already started emerging from under her patient’s skin. After a few final pulls, a small mass of congealed dark residue releases itself and only a clean, open pore is left. During the short procedure, Dr. P describes the blemish as “almost like a pore that has dilated under here because it was all full of stuff.”

“Couldn’t resist this sticky pop! 👉🏻🐝👈🏻” she captioned the video.

In most of her videos, Dr. P makes tackling blemishes and blackheads almost look easy. (She is an expert, after all.) That she had to struggle—even a little—with this resistant pop only made Popaholics root her on more in the comments.

“I got kinda mad watching this one because it was so stubborn😂😂😂😂😂,” one fan wrote.

“Literally gave me anxiety waiting so long,” wrote another.

At least with Dr. P, you always know that no matter how long you have to wait, the end result will be worth it.
