Grain patties – spicy, crispy, and vegan

Ingredients for 8 patties, each 80 g

For cereal patties

  • 200 g green core meal
  • 100 g oatmeal
  • 2 TBSP linseed, kibbled

Liquid ingredients and spices

  • 600 ml vegetable broth
  • 4 TBSP Tamari (or soy sauce)
  • 3 TABLESPOONS peanut oil
  • 2 TBSP Almond butter
  • 2 TBSP tomato paste
  • 2 TBSP mustard, grainy
  • 1 TSP paprika powder
  • Crystal salt
  • Pepper from the mill
  • 3 TABLESPOONS finely sliced Basil

Preparation

Preparation time about 10 minutes cooking/baking time approx 45 minutes

The vegetable broth in a saucepan, bring to a boil. The green core meal, bring to the boil briefly and in the open saucepan at the lowest heat for about 30 Min. garziehen (until all the water is absorbed). Then put in a bowl.

The flax seed and the oatmeal in a stand mixer, crushing, and up to the green core in the bowl. Then, Tamari, mustard, paprika powder, tomato paste, Almond butter, and Basil add the mass with your hands to evenly mix and season with salt and pepper. Then with wet hands 8 equal-sized patties (round or triangular) shapes.

The peanut oil in a wide pan and fry the patties on each side for about 3 Min. fry until Golden brown.

The grain patties together with a homemade Mayonnaise and a fine salad and enjoy.

Tip: This recipe serves as a basic recipe, so you can start the recipe with other spices and herbs individually. Also ingredients such as boiled chestnuts, vegetables, or nuts may be used in addition.
