Beginning April 1, Dunkin’ is celebrating the Easter season in a big way: with a new Peeps Marshmallow–flavored coffee and a ridiculously cute Peeps doughnut.
Per a press release, the doughnut has white icing and a special blend of green and egg-shaped sprinkles. To (literally) top things off, an adorable mini yellow Peeps chick sits atop the doughnut. If you’re a serious Peeps fan, though, Dunkin’s new coffee will be a game changer—you can add the sweet, creamy taste of Peeps Marshmallows to your favorite hot or iced coffee or espresso drink. Both Peeps items will be available at participating Dunkin’ locations for limited time.
Dunkin’ is celebrating the launch of the Peeps menu items by hitting the road to surprise fans with free coffee and doughnuts. From April 2-4, Dunkin’s “custom-sculpted coffee car” and a “Peepsmobile” (no, I’m not joking!) will travel to a total of six Dunkin’ locations. The route starts in Peeps’s hometown of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and ends in Dunkin’s birthplace: Quincy, Massachusetts.
When the quirky cars arrive at the various Dunkin’ locations, the first 250 guests there will be offered a free small Peeps-flavored iced coffee, a Peeps doughnut, and other fun, unspecified giveaways. Dunkin’ will be posting clues on Instagram as to where the cars will show up, so be sure to give the chain a follow.
Dunkin’ has a few other exciting additions to the spring menu, including a new Chocolate Cherry Cold Brew, Iced Tea Lemonade, Frozen Lemonade, and a new Sweet Sriracha Bacon Breakfast Sandwich. You’ll want to try the latest menu items ASAP, as they’re available for a limited time only.
First things first, though—Peeps latte, I’m comin’ for ya!
